Mount Beachside Holiday Park Wins National Award

Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park was recently awarded The Qualmark & THL Award at the Holiday Parks Conference in Blenheim, for the holiday park which showed the most improvement in their Qualmark assessments.

In December last year, the Holiday Park achieved a 4-star grading from Qualmark, New Zealand Tourism’s official quality agency. 

Tauranga City Council Property Manager, Anthony Averill said that the Holiday Park went from a 2.5-star grading to a 4-star grading which was a superb achievement.  "This recent award is an added bonus and one that gives national recognition to the Holiday Park team and Council for the hard work that's gone into developing and operating the park as a truly excellent facility for visitors to our region."

The Qualmark 4-star grade is a national standard for accommodation and tourism related businesses and shows domestic and international visitors that the facilities and service at the Council managed Holiday Park are of a consistently high standard.
