This modern hostel surrounded by mature trees provides an inner city oasis of calm. Explore the delightful gardens and find the hidden artworks.The hostel is immaculately clean and spacious with fully equipped kitchen and all the home comforts.

Bedrooms are individually heated with linen, towels, sheets, duvets and blankets supplied free of charge. We have lots of showers with plenty of hot water. Our spacious fully equipped kitchen has microwaves, rice cooker, pizza oven, toasted sandwich maker, electic oven, gas hobs, home baking equipment, freshly gown herbs and everything to ensure a pleasant cooking experience. We also have a small shop where you can buy the essentials.

Our sunny garden with hammocks and sun loungers, has a covered courtyard and a gas barbecue. You are also welcome to pitch a tent. Just two steps from our garden is the two hour, Waikareao Estuary loop Boardwalk. Popular with birdwatchers and joggers. Tauranga YHA is next door to the Tauranga YOGA centre where all visitors are welcome to join in.

Other facilities we provide are common room and TV lounge, disabled access and shower/toilet, laundry facilities, covered drying line and bike storage, internet and email, 24 hour guest access, public card phone and fax facilities. You can use free of charge; our badminton, volleyball, soccer, croquet and cricket equipment. We also have alarm clocks, storage lockers, travel libary, guitar, book exchange, video movies, and board games all free to guests.

Total beds are 40. We have 6 bed, 4 bed and 3 bed rooms. Doubles, twins, family rooms and ensuites.
