Aquarius Motor Inn is centrally located on Maunganui Road, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and to the main street with its cafes, restaurants, and bars. Club Mt Maunganui (incorporating Cosmopolitan Club, Bowling Club, abd Croquet Club) and the RSA are only a few minutes walk away. New World supermarket, and McDonalds are very close by.

Facilities and services include large flatscreen TV's, SKY decoder in every unit (40+ channels), spa baths in most units, free wireless internet, swimming pool, private spa pool, BBQ, guest laundry, secure offroad parking, breakfast service, and 'accessability' units.

Blake Park is over the road. This park caters for netball, hockey, rugby, 7-a-side, soccer, tennis, volleyball, squash. The TECT Arena and Baypark Speedway, including Bay Steamers Rugby, are within a few minutes drive, as are the two golf courses. The Aquarius is well set-up for school and sports' teams with many larger units, and excellent cooking and laundry services. Group rates available.

Corporate rates are available for the commercial/business traveller. Tauranga Port and the industrial area of Hull Road/Newton St/Totara St are close-by. The Airport is 5 minutes away.
Tauranga City is a 10 minute drive over the Harbour Bridge, Rotorua is less than an hour away, Hamilton and Taupo under 2 hours, and Auckland just over 2 hours.
